Titanfall Beta comes to an End with Respawn saying a Titan Size Thank You

The Titanfall Beta servers finally fell silent overnight as the beta finally came to an end. Extended by two days, this beta has engulfed the Xbox One world since it kicked off on Valentine’s Day as Respawn put their servers and game to the test, finding bugs and squashing them as they prepare for perhaps the biggest launch on Xbox One of 2014.

Following the ending Respawn, Titanfall and Vince Zampell all too to Twitter to thank the massive amount of fans who joined the beta to help them test Titanfall before it release on March 11th in the US and 14th in the UK:

The response to the beta has been hugely positive as Xbox One’s first real console selling title prepares for release. Many gamers are now seeing what others including myself have been saying ever since we played Titanfall for the first time, that it truly is an FPS Genre changing level game for not just new generation consoles but across all platforms. Respawn put the beta to great use by stress testing their online servers, discovering bugs and squashing them and collecting information on issues all geared to providing the best experience once Titanfall is released in just under a months time.

Despite the Xbox 360 version not being included in the beta as Bluepoint Games put the finishing touches to the ported down version of the game, but speaking yesterday, Respawn summed the reasons up very well:

“but a better game a few weeks later is better than an unfinished one earlier”
