Merchoid, the official videogame merchandise retailer, have today unveiled their collection of officially licensed, knitted gaming ‘Ugly Christmas Sweaters’ collection. The new Christmas sweater designs, based on Fallout, Halo and Zelda, are 100% knitted for an authentic Christmas sweater look, and offer a videogaming spin on the recent ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ phenomenon. All designs are available in sizes ranging from XS to XXXL and are unisex, so fit both males and females. The new Christmas Sweaters are available to preorder from Merchoid now from £36.99/$54.99/€49,99 and ship out in plenty of time for Christmas.
The new designs feature a pixel perfect, knitted rendition of Link’s 8-bit adventures, Halo’s Master chief proclaiming ‘Wake me when you need presents’ and Fallout’s Vault Boy wishing everyone ‘Happy Holidays’.
In addition to the new Fallout, Halo and Zelda designs, Merchoid’s bestselling gaming Christmas sweaters from last year have also been rereleased, so there are now seven gaming designs in the collection for 2016, along with more new designs based on Star Wars, Deadpool, Captain America and more.
Merchoid’s Community Manager, Jessica Adams says of the new collection “This Christmas, whether you’re rocking around the Deku tree, shopping for presents for Cortana or just wanting to survive a nuclear Winter, our new sweaters will make you feel extra festive. Every sweater is officially licensed and 100% knitted, so you can be sure you won’t end up on the naughty list if you buy one as a present.”
The Marvel, Star Wars, Fallout and Halo sweaters are manufactured by Numskull.
