2016 has had a fair share of video game release dates being delayed or pushed back until 2017, and just as gamers enter ‘Silly Season’ which will see big name titles released on an almost weekly basis now till Christmas, one title fans were eagerly hoping to find under their tree this year has now been pushed back until early 2017.
With a very short and understated update to fans on the official Ubisoft Blog, it has been announced that South Park: Fractured but Whole has been delayed.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.
This was a title I was most eagerly waiting for this year so it is a real shame that it has been moved to next year, would have made a great Christmas holiday title.
