DC Entertainment News: Supergirl Gets 2nd Season but Moves to CW Network

In news that will please fans, it has been reported that although CBS declined to renew Supergirl for a second season, a deal has been made between CBS and DC Entertainment that has allowed the show to move to the CW Network instead and will join Arrow,The Flash and DC Legends of Tomorrow.

Following the successful network and Flash crossover episode, Supergirl has been shown to exist as part of the Multiverse introduced in The Flash, though not directly in the same universe which could lead to a possible huge crossover story with all four shows!

Starring Melissa Benoist as the lead character Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, the show had fun stories but personally felt it suffered from a low budget which led to some not so great special effects and costume choices, something that hopefully can be improved now it’s on CW along with the other DC Shows.
